Day of the Dead Photography Travel Workshop: Dancers, Music, Bells and Mirrors

We have just added the November 1, 2013 comparsa that brings together Day of the Dead revelers from the two Etlas–San Jose Etla and San Agustin Etla–to our Day of the Dead Photography Expedition travel workshop itinerary.  The comparsa is known for its lively dancers and merrymakers dressed in elaborate costumes covered with bells and mirrors.  They are heavy. Very heavy.  The festivities in Etla start on November 1 and continue on to the following morning.

We will be arriving by van in the early evening on November 1 to capture some of the preparations and be there in time for the start of the 10 p.m. muerteada.   Another night of Oaxaca Day of the Dead photography.  Isn’t this what we came for?

For the complete itinerary, see Day of the Dead Photography Expedition 2013.

We still have a few spaces left for this very popular expedition workshop.  Last year we sold out and had to turn people away.  Don’t be disappointed.  This is a great travel, learn, experience adventure.

If you have any questions, please send me an email.
