Programs

Our educational programs, workshops, retreats and expeditions are learning experiences that immerse you in the culture as you explore and develop your own creative talents and skills around a particular topic or area.  You are more than a tourist as you live and learn in a family-friendly indigenous village.

2012 Program Schedule

March 30-April 6, 2012:  In the Footsteps of Rodolfo Morales: Mixed Media Art Workshop with artist and teacher Hollie Taylor.  We are developing the content for this program.  Let us know if you are interested and we’ll put you on a wait list.

Customized Programs We also schedule customized programs for individuals or small groups according to your travel plans and our artists’ availability. Participants’ skill levels vary from novice to experienced, and we are able to give personalized attention because the group is small. Groups can include mothers/daughters, families and friends.

The Chavez Santiago Family comes to the U.S. periodically to conduct workshops and give demonstrations.  We would be happy to arrange a visit to your city or town.

  2. Norma, I am interested in the summer workshop 2011. Can you give me more info? I have been traveling to Oaxaca for years. In fact, I was there in January 2010 for a friend’s gallery opening at the A. Bravo gallery. I speak some Spanish, am from Charlotte NC though I live in CA now. I found your site because I was looking for a mole amarillo recipe. I grew my own chilhuacle chilis, dried them and now am about to embark on the famous yellow mole of Oaxaca. Look forward to hearing from you. Jane
