Oaxaca Best of Week Photos by Hollie Taylor Novak: As Is Things, As Is People
Hollie Taylor Novak is a mixed media artist and ceramics teacher from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who participated in the 2012 Oaxaca Photography Workshop: Market Towns and Artisan Villages this summer. Instructors Sam and Tom Robbins asked each participant to prepare a presentation of 20 photographs that represented their Best of Week work. For most of us, that meant culling through thousands of shots, ranking them and then making the final selection.
Here are Hollie’s photos around the theme As Is Things, As Is People. Click on each photo to get a full-screen view and lots of detail.
Our next photography adventure: Oaxaca Day of the Dead Photo Expedition. Just a few places left! We hope you will be with us.
