Very good vintage Guatemala huipil or blouse! The bodice is filled with hand-embroidered flowers — like wearing a bouquet. The fabric is handwoven rayon, very drapey, and the threads used for the bodice are a combination of cotton and polyester. Vintage is likely from the seventies or eighties. Front and back are exactly the same. This is a spectacular one-of-a-kind piece with fine workmanship found in the Chichicastenango market. Measures 28″ wide x 19″ long. Perfect for layering.
