Happy Feasting, Gobble Gobble

Wishing you and yours a day of peace, tranquility and gratitude, filled with family, good friends and abundance. Giving THANKS is so important. Today we set aside everything else and focus on what it means to appreciate all that we have rather than on what’s missing. My son and daughter-in-law are with me here on the Taos Mesa. We’ve been cooking, talking about life, aging, sunsets and taking time out. In a couple of hours we will join families with dearest, lifelong friends who live up the road to celebrate with a Thanksgiving Feast.

I’m cognizant of all that is imperfect in our world, hopes and dreams shattered for so many this week through gun violence, through war and famine, through fractured families unable to reconcile. And, still, through it all, we assemble once again in thanksgiving, with some optimism for a world that has the potential to heal itself.

Blessings to you and yours. May you be full of everything that satisfies you.  Love and pie!

With gratitude for your readership and support,
Norma
